New policy regarding "Likes"?

and nothing will explain it.......

I know the mods are swamped :flipoff:

LinkedIn just implemented 'likes' for comments.
It's beyond idiotic. Now our threads are littered with 'like' comments. Yeah, it's click-bait for ads. Dear god. They could have sold t-shirts instead, or a member/supporter program to harvest operating funds. No, that's too complicated. :flipoff:

That's retarded. LinkedIn started as a professional networking site, but it's already turning into a clown and spam site.

I'm not a fan of much of any of that stuff, begrudgingly have a profile on various ones for various specific reasons.

However my son was recruited out of college by LinkedIn making bank, and has already gotten a couple of raises and promotions. They spend money like drunken sailors there - obviously their revenue model is aplenty.

I started a profile once upon a time, but don't even remember my log in credentials. My one buddy jokingly keeps wishing me a happy anniversary for working X number of years, at an employer I don't work for anymore.
