New pups, looking at names.

Here's a pic of the namesake doggie. I like most of the dogs that I walk, but this guy was the one I would have loved to adopt if I could have.

I like giving my pets real people names. My current dog is named Charlie(Charles). My gf's dog is Roscoe... because he came from Indiana with her lol.

I think you also have to see how hard or easy it is to yell the name. Something difficult might make it hard to yell.

Like Finnegan... could go with Finn for short.

I am certainly thinking about the pronunciation of them. He came named blaze( like blaze up that joint) stupid. Sounded too close to Bludo. With three I have to keep them fairly different sounding so they can identify who I'm calling or scolding better. Bludo and Gulliver and ??? it is for now. La Puta was funny. Moose I thought for the male too.

I just wanted to say,AWSOME JOB"thumbsup"
I love hearing these kinds of stories!!!! As far as names,my finace' hates this one with a passion so ill throw it out there....... REHTT. Like bret but without the b :ror: I know its a little out there:ror:

I think I have them... Moose and divya. Divya is pronounced divea. It's Indian for divine. And I'd never of thought of it except for watching Royal Pains. Good show. And moose because I think it fits him a bit more than Gulliver. I do really like Gulliver. It's in the bank for any future pets. So now we have Bludo, Moose, and Divya. I've laughed pretty good at a few of the ideas here haha. Shared with a few friends and that's funny.

As for most people names I just have a hard time finding one that rolls off your tongue right and doesn't remind you of a person you know/known that you don't want your pet named after.

My Little sisters boxer is called Bam-Bam, if it had been mine i would have called it 2 face as its White in general, but half its head is Black.

I dont have a dog myself as i know i will not be able to take care of it like its supposed to be.

The face on your big dog in the last pic is priceless! He looks like he's thinking: " Where the hell did this new gate come from????"

Dogs are so cool and I want one, but I'm not home enough and it wouldn't be fair to have a dog locked up all day if I can't be home to play and hang out. Dogs are pack animals, if they have no "pack" it is not fair to keep them locked up all day in a house alone.

IMO..... boy dogs get regular names...Bob, Chuck, Randy......I think that's hilarious. :lmao: (Standing around a bonfire at 2am, beer cans everywhere)...." Where the FUK is Bob?"

Girl dogs get stripper names...Sadie, Peaches, Jasmine.......Dave passed out on the couch next to Jasmine....don't tell his wife. :lmao:"thumbsup"
