My old and loved Spektrum Dx3R caught fire with my berg in the garage of a friend of mine () so i have to choose a new Radio, mainly for my Berg and secondly for the slash.
In my old berg i loved the dx3r with the wantasummit dig,so i'm undecided...

Buy another Dx3r (with wantasummit dig) or a Sanwa(airtronic) Mt4 (some friend of mine have raccomended this one..)

the setup is:
2x micro mamba pro
1x ccbec

Give me your opinion "thumbsup"

I prefer Futabas, but if you have experience with the Spektrum and liked it, might not be a bad idea to go with another 3R. I just like my 2PL a LOT better than the wife's DX-3S. Never seen an Airtronics, can't tell you if that'd be the way to go.

i used the futaba 4pl,but the dx3r (for me) is on another planet...(but no mixing for moa :( )
the airtronics seems very good...
but i still love wantasummit dig :D

I guess 1st question is, how many Spektrum RX's do you have? If you switch brands, you have to replace those.

Sorta cheap Futaba, 3PM-x with a WantAmix to do dual ESC's (what I have in my 2.2 Bully). Works well with front & rear dig as well as proportional.

A little more (but no need for a WantAmix) is a Futaba 4PL.

Decent value but under ~$100, hacked GT3B (from LosiKid), it's what I use in my 2.2 XR-10 with dual ESC's. WOrks well.

I have never been a Spektrum fan, so it's your choice.
A couple of our club members have the MT4, they're happy with them.

Go for the 4PL and don't look back!!! Once you start using it and the programing ease of it you'll wonder why you didn't switch along time ago!!! If on a budget go for the hacked gt3b or gt3c. Either will do more then you need for way less. I just prefer the feel of the 4pl!!! You can find a used 4pks for the cost of a dx3r pro and a wantasummit.
Can't really go wrong with any of the radios metioned above thou!!!

I enjoy my Airtronics MX-Sport, but obviously doesn't have the same number of features as the fancier radios posted... That said, I'm sure you could find something you like from them as I'm very satisfied with the quality of my "entry level" radio. The only real problem is the receivers are insanely expensive. 50-60 bucks for a 3 channel is no good.

I am glad I went to the MT4. I tried it once from another member and was hooked."thumbsup"

You & Marz where who I was referring to in an earlier post.
I have no experience with this radio.....figuered others would chime in."thumbsup""thumbsup"

I am a spektrum guy cuz theyre sooo easy to configure. Plus i can go hiking all day long with the dx3r without getting a tired arm...that 4PL felt like a brick. However futaba sure makes great stuff. I feel like theses days you really cant go wrong with any of the top brands....theyve all but perfected the technology compared to the old AM/FM days.
