NEW RC4WD K5 Blazer Body for TF2

Stompers would look great IMO... The Mud Thrashers look good on anything. 1.55 Slingers are sharp. Wagon wheels always look good on Blazers. Bare-steel 1.55 Rallyes (Landies)... The Gearhead slot mags would fit the bill nicely as well. I'm going to be honest, the more I look at 1.55's, the less I like 1.9's lol.

I would take a pic of the Mickey Thompson Classic with Pit Bull Growlers or Fun Countrys (supposedly what the 80s GMC Fall Guy truck had installed at that time) on it - if there weren't 5011 screws in my way ;-)

Steelies are always great and 1.55 definetly! I wish they would come in chrome (how about that RC4WD???). At least I have a set I stripped the paint from ;-)
GCM's Mini Mag 10 holes would be a good choice too I think! Oh and then I have some Gmade steel wheels (look like landies) - heavy duty and look super stock on it too.

I'm going to try 1.55 Rock Crushers first. They have a 93.9mm outer diameter vs. 93.3 of the Mud Thrashers. By my measurements, the wheel rear wells are about 96.9mm at the opening and get smaller as they go up, but the fronts only start at about 91.9mm, so 5mm smaller. Not sure what will stuff in there, but the wheel offset probably will decide what tire will fit.

Woot! Finally got mine. Here's a couple shots sitting on 1.5 mickeys and growlers. I think the 1.5's look pretty good. I'm gonna try a couple 1.9's like some cepek fc-II's and rock beast I have just for grins. I'll post more pics.

No QC issues, Not sure where that came from.

We are waiting on more production to arrive. Should have stock later this week, or mid next week.

How are people planning to mount this body on an SCX10 chassis? Velcro? Magnets? Is there a way to mount it like the G2 D90, mount to he frame at the bottom of the doors?

Sorry to be a bother with all these questions. First hardbody.

Is there an SCX10 compatible mount bracket? Or will the RC4WD ones work?

Well, if you look at my shot in post #115 of the blue and white Ascender's underside you can get the idea. That body is actually sitting on a scx10 chassis with the "stock" bumper mounts (okay, these are aluminum) - and the RC4WD Blazer's bumpers have the same width mounts that fit right in. So you could mount the bumpers to the body and the mounts would mount it to the chassis. Since the hood opens, it might not be necessary to remove the body at all. That's at least my plan for mounting it to an scx10 frame. Maybe hinged in the back, but like I said, really not needed.
