I just saw this up on RPP for pre-order and I didn't find any threads about it (other than RPPs). It appears to be the same, just a shiny new body. Its nice to see more body options. RPP is showing a ETA of October.

My guess would be yes, it appears to be the same construction under the body. The front body posts are different its just 1 single post in the middle. The rear hinge also looks like it may be different.
I'd bet those parts wont cost much though.

Looking through the parts page on Axials website the Front bumper is labeled as a CRC JL though It looks the same to me (as the deadbolt)
Rear bumper and hinge is marked as CRC JL. I dont see the front body post listed though.

EDIT: I noticed the wheelbase for the JL is listed as 132.5mm while the Deadbolt is 133.5mm, seems so close that may be a typo?

I kinda like the CRC version. I wasn't a big fan of the Deadbolt when it came out, but I like this one for some reason.

I may have to pick one of these up to give me something to indoors when the snow starts flying!

Good choice by Axial. I think that body will be pretty popular. I did notice some different part numbers for different things that should be similar to the Deadbolt. Will be interesting to see exactly how it is different.

Anybody pre-order one of these yet? Think I may pick one up when they land at my LHS, cannot choose a color though!:roll:
