Hey everyone. i have been lurking here for quite some time now. i have owned and played around with many rc trucks in my live and fell in love with the monster trucks a while back. Now i have found these wonderful scale models of rock crawler's i want to build i replica of my Wrangler i drive every day.

my question is where do i start? I love the look of real axles and leaf springs etc..... (similar to the bruiser/mountaineer)

looking to spend no more than 500 bucks on getting one up and running to play with would like to spend a little less than that.(and probably will end up spending more)

please offer advice on chassis axles motors etc.....want it to be as real as possible. even write ups will help out. heck even post pics up of your guys wrangler type rc cars.

Thanks everyone

Osborn, welcome to RCC, If you use the search feature, youll probably find the answer to most of the questions. There are quite a few vendors here who offer scale chassis, such a Montana scale Design's BB51, the Diaz trail chassis is a full leaf chassis, the double J trail beater and many others. Bruiser axles are going to be costly and are limited in the selection of wheels. Be prepared to shell out roughly 200$ for a complete set of axles. Your budget of 500$ is possible, but to really get it to where you need to be your looking at a lot more. Any other questions just ask.

Good luck with the build

Mike
