It looks like RC4WD is going to be releasing a white TF2. It was on horizon hobby and tower hobby last night and now this morning horizon has taken it down but it is still on tower hobbies. Here is a link White TF2

Actually looks better white to me. The mounting holes in the rocker kill that body for me though. The handful I've seen filled make them look much better. The first few times I saw them I thought a part was missing haha.

Ya I wish they would have done a hidden body mount but I think the white makes the mounting holes really stand out. Mine is a matte black and alot harder to see them.

I wish they would release the tf2 with the 4Runner body rather than just slapping some white paint on the mojave body. Definitely would sell better than this white tf2.

I'm scared of hard body lol. I would love to put a K5 on my SCX10 but figured it would last about a month lol. That's a lot of coin to destroy the windows/door handles/bumpers...but they do look great.

Edit - you could probably plug those holes really easily with some white material or even a white plastic screw cover. I used those all the time on my white 1:1 truck, could be trimmed down to micro size. Then mount the body with magnets. I'm sure someone has done all of that lol, I'm behind the times

Agreed on the body mounts. I’m doing up an xtracab and plan on plugging the holes with some scrap styrene and filling with styrene dissolved in M.E.K.

Filling the holes and using grub screws instead of the included screw is the cleanest mounting option for not to much work is the best I believe also.

My Mojave body has held up pretty well to some wicked roll overs and I have been surprised by the durability but it definitely isn't as stout as lexan.

Really wish they'd focus on fixing design flaws, poor tolerances and quality control rather than releasing multiple versions of the same truck. Its not that I mind varity, its just that I prefer quality and reliability.

I bought a Marlin edition about 6 weeks ago and the only issue I had with it was the metal front bumper that came with it was welded up a little crooked. I contacted RC4WD and the asked for me to send a picture and then they sent me out another one. All the axles seem to be shimmed correctly, bolts were tight, I didnt have any complaints really with the truck.

I have been pretty rough with mine and was initially worried about the driveshafts, axle shafts, differential gears. I am running a Mamba X paired with a Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro V2 2700kv on 3S and have not broken a single thing on it yet. I haven't been easy on it at all.

Honestly I wish I wouldn't have bought an scx10iii and just bought another TF2 haha I enjoy my TF2 so much more than my 10.3.
