Newest Upgrades

Newbie to crawling here, but not RC cars, and have a question about upgrades. I added an AX-10 (has Novak 55 & rooster ESC) to my collection and am really getting into this - love it so far.

Question: Do I really need to upgrade the motor/ESC for more power/torque. All my cars have upgrades, but not sure if I really need it for this sport.

Short answer, no you don't need to upgrade them yet. If you are just getting into it you could at least wait until you wear out the motor.

From there you have a choice between a more expensive brushed motor or a new brushless system.
