Jason, how many coats of com formal spray do you use? On the Futaba receivers, do you put them back in their case?

I also suffered from the Heyok Control meltdown, that was what took out my wraith, once I got home, I pulled all the plugs but the bed, re-linked and started adding them back one at a time, when i hit the Heyok, it freaked out.

anywhere from id say 4 to 8 coats. i put enough coats on where i see it. probably too many.

im starting to believe the heyok controllers are the evil that keeps killing my servos, seems to be a common problem... guess ill step up to the tzi version.

I have been looking all over down there trying to find a campground that will let me use my camper and you guys use tents at a reasonable cost and they don't exist. $25 per tent seems to be the standard rate.

I wouldn't mind trying someplace else... even Michigan, Indiana or Wisconsin.
It'd be nice if we weren't going in blind though...

Ha! I just saw a skateboarder wipe out in front of a hot chick in a short skirt! I think he was a little distracted :lmao:

so the dude rig is pretty cool... but it definitely needs some work and some finishing before im going to run it. mainly need to strip the paint off and do a little more brazing for sliders and most likely some front tube bumpers.

i dont really know what i'm going to do with it yet... im pretty sure i'll keep timmy as my c2 truck and main basher rig.

which ones? i still have the rear hubs that i cant do anything with since the tools i have dont fit/

it's the front ones. The rear ones are a solid piece of aluminum, it's the fronts that have the locking hub caps that pop out. It's fine, they're cheapo. I won't use them again.
