sounds like it is going to be a beast Neil what body will you be running.Speaking of to many toys hows that R1 doing"thumbsup" Also looks like next weekend might be alot nicer

R1 is done for now. Crawls fine on the 45T but slow, not sure where I am going with that one yet.

Body is a JK Brusier. Cab is basically done but for a little body l=filler on one seam. The bed pieces are cut. I am using the tail gate and fenders form a 4 door JK with the door filled in smooth, them adding a drop bed. Still need to get the Cab mount figured out then can finish up the bed.

As far as a beast, I am shooting for bullet proof and capable. Bouncing between a 35T HH setup and a novak 17.5 Brushless setup, but probably going Holmes direction. @twill is making me some killer bumpers, rear will have a top mounted pulling hitch on it. Still woking thru the tires/wheels. Want to try both sets on the sled and on the hill climb. I have Proline 2.2 TSLs on 8 shooters and Pitbulls on Delrin GMades (or I will if Ron gets off today). o I think it is gonna be strong and a climbing fool, but I am sure Saydees half indy will wax me on the speed.

But yesterday I drove the heck out of my XR testing the knuckle weights.

There sweet "thumbsup"

I have almost all my parts, steering and wheel weights came in yesterday, waiting on my gear sets and my chassis, then I can start building.

Had to drop a few dimes on a car yesterday so now I can haul my stuff again but can't buy as many toys :-)

more pics man, looks awesome.

saydee did you get your 454 fixed on the xr10.

I talked to JRH he said that is the one thing he has not found a perfect fix for.

He said to just lock-tight it. I just pushed it back together and it was holding fine for the rest of that day.

Took it back apart this weekend and threw some lock-tight in to be safe.

I ran the crap out of it Sat hardest I have ever. "thumbsup"

i might build something like it, i just gotta get the slash parts and power plant.
all the pics are gone in your build up thread!
is indi ifs too?? pics please.

I know

Indy is full Independent. It has a Slash 4x4 front and rear. Summit Trans as well.

Brian, how do you match gears from a ifs to solid axle?

I run stock slash 4x4 and stock gears from axial the front is a little over driven.

My rear axle is a RC4wd Hardcore axle. It can use Axial gears
