How are these woods? I like the rock section. Do you feel if you cleaned it up it would be a comp worth location?

Meaning as lest as good as the wood where at now? I saw alot of junk laying around. But that river bed was a mess before. Some times still is.
 
hmmm, AR60s. I am still considering buying back my D90. It has the T Rex 60s on it. I could then either run it in Class 1 where is is very capable, with the 70:1 gear train in can pull stumps. or I may get it, chop it up and put my Wraith axles on it and build an eco cage and make it a Class 3. Kind of like this:

I built some wraith steering stuff, drag link, tie rod... Made a set for my brother so, I made extra's for the local boys. I know Neil has his name on a set so far so, there is 5 sets still available. Pm me for more info.

I based these off of my vanquish titanium stuff..so, they are similar to that.
used revo m4 rod ends.

.250" 303 solid stainless steel
M4 male threaded ends
backside clearanced .04" for diff covers
each one is hand bent

If anyone else wants one of these Wraith steering setup's bring $10 or something to trade on sunday.

Edit: to keep the vendor star hounds off my back.. There is only a small batch of these and they are only being offered to my friends & people i have already personally met.

On a different subject, and just because I like to bitch, moan and complain, I hate stock brokerage firms. I placed a sell order at Market on Tuesday. The price locked in at that point in time, (good for me since the per share is down $.90). Now the order has been sitting in a "Clearing" status and they are projecting a wire transfer on Monday. I can't understand if they sold my stocks, why the hell are they sitting on my money. It is not like the seller or the buyer can change their mind. There is no Do Over in the stock market.

Bankers and stock brokers, they are second in line behind the Lawyers and Politicians in the "who do we mistrust the most" category.

I don't know that you need to close this one, it's perfect for bitching at each other. It would be nice if there was a thread that explained what you guys do, what the club is and how to get in on the action. I had to ask.

We get together a couple of times a month for competitions/events. Sometimes we meet up for GTG (get togethers) or fun runs.
You just have to be a part of the action on the forums to follow what/when/where things are happening.

Just come to a few events and you'll see what its about.

Real good point. I am working with the other clubs to get a "Mission Statement" and contact plus general info for Illinois. I will create a Welcome to Illinois RC Rock Crawling thread and try to get it stickyed.

Yeah, cool. I wasn't complaining. I was more commenting on his idea to close this thread so noobs don't have to search through as much.

Do you guys interact with SCRC much? From what I gathered on the forums they're more into comp crawling. I was drawn in your direction for the scale aspect. I tried contacting them through their website and hadn't heard back.
 
Yeah, they do mostly 2.2 comps.
They've invited all of us out and vise versa.
I believe War Trader was a member until he was bit by the scale bug... now he sold all his compers and is building a couple of Wraiths :twisted:
