Better get some 17mm adapters!

I predict broken 10th scale parts in your future. :)

If I like them on... then I'll get the adapters. This is just a "visual fit" test "thumbsup"

Right now, everything is Robinson Racing, MIP and Axial HD... except the axle housing.

Be interesting to see what happens. :) I know both sets of 40s I have for the two Savages are really big and heavy!

could also try some maxx sized wheels.

speaking of.. i got some narrowed jumbo kongs if the 40's are too small. ;)

the PL 40's are kinda short compared to... say, Mud Slingers.
2.2 PL TSL's 5.4" tall / 1.9"width (current tire)
40 PL Big Joe 6.39" tall / 4.25" wide (way to wide but I like the height.)
40 PL Trenchers 6.89" / 3.43" wide (thinking about this one.)

Heck I bought the 40 series Trenchers to maybe use instead of the Baja 5B tires on a Savage 5th scale version.

Really I do think the 40 series are just too big for the Rider.

Are these new bright rc?

What?!!?

No, the top one is an HPI Savage XL with a LRP .30 nitro engine. The middle on is a Team Associated RC8Te. And the bottom one is a HPI Savage Flux. All with custom painted bodies by me (yay), but all of them are 8th scale stuff.

i might not be able to make it either... got briefed today on a bunch of shit that i have to show at 10am monday...

i swear to god i'm going to walk out of this place someday.

3.8"

Anyone have ProLine "Traxxas" 3.8" BadLands?
They are 5.85" H x 2.72" W
that might work better... only a half inch taller though.

I am seriously considering retiring in the next few months and starting a consulting business. I am up with the politics and really have no desire to continue in the Energy field.

Absolutely, I am juts not going to do this anymore. I retired once when I was 38 and made the mistake of staying in the same general field. I should have switched fields. Now I am stuck, so I may try it for myself.
