Get the wheels that you think look good! I dont think I would buy vanquish wheels but, they sure are popular.
Let me see if i have all the parts for those links first..Then we'll take it to PM."thumbsup"

I'd only buy them used. Trey, get your damn 30 post in man... or pay the 20. The classifieds are worth either. Hell, post in my scx10 Buxom Melons thread... you can comment on how a fat ass scx10 beat down the WRAITHS

I haven't owned VP wheels but so far my best set is Mayhem Enginering.
I'm running 1.9's on my Dinky and I want to get a set of the old comp 2.2 Double Fatties for Daisy Cutter... the RR.

You guys are right, regional posts don't count toward the count. Just posted in your buxom melons thread. Woo hoo 1 post!

I got a notification from Chase telling me I'm a broke ass mofo!
On the plus side, I also got email telling me my XHD Lockers (melons) and MIP Drive Shafts (Rock Rider) are on the way!

Hellz yea..

I got my safety silv stuff on the way and bunch of 3/16" & 1/8 SS rod. I want to build my first "ground up" chassis that I can call my own!! I blame Jason! With his damn zuky & lemonade! lol

I have plenty of stainless rod..Buy some safety-silv, we'll get together, we'll bend it up, braze it on.. Then you can say you built it! Or, you could just have it done.

sounds good to me!
I'd really like to learn how to braze. 8)

I had a pic of a 1:1 that I wanted to use as a base but I had to wipe my laptop after getting that damn virus and lost the pic. I've searching for it for 2 weeks now.

i have to say brazing just flat out looks way better than welds... i'm sure the prep time with welding is waaay shorter than brazing since you done HAVE to fishmouth it perfect to have it look perfect, but i think its worth the time spent brazing to have uber clean looking joints and not the huge booger welds or grinded off but still boogered up joints you see with mig'd and even tig'd chassis.

when i first started i was sketched out by the strength, but solid rod will bend before the joints will fail. harris is some good stuff...

Hell, I have 10 or so build threads, go post in all of them. Just don't cheat (like great truck posts) the mods have been known to catch that.

On the VP wheels, I have had them. Great looking light weight for a ridiculous price. Much rather have Mayhems, CACs or RC4WD for the money, and I have owned each of them. I have gotten where I would rather run RC4WD Pro10s or Steelies than just about anything else.

I'd be up for that too.. I don't got the crap, but do have some ideas both for Class 2 and 3. :)

Thanks for the input, I'll check those out. I honestly didn't pay much attention to the RC4WD ones because the general consensus seems to be that their products aren't great.

Just bought a new class 2
