NIRC. Chit Chat

any nirc'rs into blade helis, xtm xfactors, tlt's, micro rs4's, losi micro-t's, losi micro rockcrawlers, etc?

im doing some shuffling of stuff around the house to move the gf in... and wow i got alot of crap... gonna be busy moving this weekend (beside sunday event) but if i get time ill post up a bunch of crap in the private section.

Which blade? I've been thinking of getting one.
Is the xtm nitro or electric?

blade cx2 and cp-pro. nitro xtm xfactor. moving tonight and tomorrow but ill take some time and roughly list out some stuff in the private section when i get a chance.
 
Hey johnny, I'm transfering those videos to that website you gave me. From the looks of it, its going to be several hours. Do I have to upload them after that or is it doing that already?
You know the little java box? Well, Im transfering the whole video folder with all the videos in it, from the left side to the right side. You know what im sayin? What happens after that?

So I pulled apart the motors in the Honcho and the Wraith. Honcho's looks fine, brushes are in relatively good shape and with a bit of cleaning it runs just fine (it ran before hand).

The Wraith motor on the other hand... LOL. I'll post pics in a bit, but definitively needs new brushes and the comm smoothed out!

Slight problems. :)

So since I don't have a comm lathe, I read somewhere that you could use a dremel or a drill and rotate it. So I thought I'd give it a go..

Its not perfect, and of course the comm diameter is slightly smaller which affects performance (if I recall thicker comm will produce more torque) but should at least work in a pinch maybe!

Well it does run though.. :)

I did this to the motor I run in my '72 chevy. Worked perfect. I couldn't tell any difference in the power. "thumbsup"

Ya both would be so fun. Kinda like a KOH trail.

I have been back playing with a comp crawler "XR10". I really don't know why I got ride of my first one.

I think they are so cool and fun to tune.
