Primer? That's original MB faded paint!
It's very clean. I found 2 small rust areas. 1 under the rear fender down by the tank and one in the front wheel well.
It was hit at some point. Driver side rear door is showing a bit of green paint in a few spots and the driver side front door is a bit off... works but could use a shim.
Overall, extremely clean for a 54 year old midwest car.

There is a white Mercedes at a fair muffler shop by my house at plainfield and lagrange rd. looks to be about the same year and condition as yours! I'll snap a pic next time I go past there. What year is yours by the by?

yeah the hitec news is VERY good news. "thumbsup"

happy to hear the new currie centers work with the old currie tubes. i almost ordered a set of the old style a couple months back to use the scx tubes and everything i replaced on ricks c2 with xr stuff.

ha. i ordered a rc4wd trail finder 2 kit today. I had to get it on credit though. I have been wanting this truck so bad for so long. :lmao: "thumbsup" :flipoff:

i decided i don't want to build a kit. i can't get the rtr trail finder 2 . i will send it back. i ordered a rtr vaterra assender . i wanted something that performs good , has a front battery mount and has scale looks and is a rtr. that fit the bill. I used to have a rtr axial scx10 honcho. it was great. just didn't look scale enough for me.
