they also got bombers for 100 bucks. its gotta be too good to be true. i read a bunch of rc10 guys tried getting worlds cars for cheap and some have got paypal refunds since ordering but some have not.

I still haven't been able to bond a T connection in brake line with map gas and a t8000 torch. Doin something wrong. Nice work. My silver solder beads off like water off wax [emoji35]

i was having a tough time being motivated knowing i wanted to do something real clean and low cg but not really knowing what to do. it took a couple tries to bend the sides equal and just right, im real happy with how clean they ended up.

mike are you using electrical solder or the higher temp brazing solder? i have both standard mapp torch and the little 2 bottle mapp/o2 torch from homedepot. it takes a bit of work with either of those to get a joint (thats been cleaned and fluxed) to be too hot to flow the solder into.

ive only ever used harris safety silv 45 or 56, with the stay silv paste flux. heat joint till flux and joint turns shiney lava looking, apply rod and done.

thinking about cutting the rear out and mounting the spare like this, maybe on a swing out tire carrier with a bearing so the spare can spin.

I was going to ask the same, are you applying flux to both pieces to be joined, and it helps to fishmouth the end of the tube. The other thing I noticed about Mapp gas, is the silver will flow when the metal starts getting red, if you get it too hot, the silver will bead off.

ok this HAS to be too good to be true...

i got notifications today that both the bomber and bruiser i ordered off wish were processed and ready to ship. then i just now got a shipping notification for the bruiser.
