^it was too good to be true. got delivery notification on the bruiser. sent to florida... same with all the other guys who ordered. we just ended up loaning some chinese dude interest free money for a month... oh well. ;)

on a positive, i picked up a supershafty wraith trans off ebay for 45 bucks shipped! its not even f'd up in any way other than a bit dirty, i was expecting stripped threads or something else janky. i dont think the seller realized what he had.

are ya maybe maxing the steering beyond the limit of the axial cvd? ive had the same set of 5mm super300 axle shafts in my c2 for the past 4 or so years and everybody whos seen me run timmy knows i aint at all easy on it. i have yet to even replace a cvd pin. vp took over the super300 design but ive broke a few of the vp versions..., if you keep having problems maybe get some of the old super300s or try the vp 5mm vvd. could also do the xr10 mod and use xr unis.

Yep snapped one in my Yellow Ford last time we went to Aldeen. Replaced it with a cut section of a body clip has held up ok since. Really comes down to poor design. The axle drives are just to small in diameter to much torque being exchanged, just bends the pins.

I've been looking at options. The XR10 universals are no longer around. The Vanquish parts are nice but maybe a little to nice $ for a scale rig. I'm sort of waiting for the SSD drives to come out that are being rumored.

Replaced mine with Gunnar pins. Took chevy out again and mud froze in motor. This winter crawling thing is taking a toll on my trucks

Hellz yea.. I snatched up a bomber as well. Cool lil' truck

Yeah, I like it!
It's funny... with all the Axial based rigs I have, these two represent my first ever rtr and first ever kit! :lmao:

But, they are tax write off's so have to do it the right way. "thumbsup"

It's a pretty cool rig, innovative in terms of Axail.
Like the built in, easy access cab forward battery case with flip up hood.
The wb is loooong... almost an inch longer than a Wraith.

I have a stock Deadbolt and one battery pack that is good for about an hour. I would like a place to run tomorrow (sunday). I am right on the IL/IN state line. Anybody want to go trail running between roughly Joliet and Portage IN?
