hi all, in this week i have started a new project... my personal patrol gq-gr
chassy milled and projected by me whit independent coil spring and damper like real one, axial axle and custom made by myself beadlock wheel, at thi moment there are some flat iron but revisited and cutted by me.
today i have completed the front bumper whit inox licence plate and delrin fairlead for the whinch i'll install inside the body...
next work to do... rock slider and rear bumper ... after this i'll start to mill one transfer case i have projected that include a 2 gear speed and a dig system, the motors will be installed in the front of the chassy.
regard the decoration layout ... i will make it all orange whit flat black front
here some photo, i hope you like it and sorry for my bad english;-)
as yo can see from the photo... the patrol body is made by myself and the measure are perfect for the axial axle and the tire while in twist dont touch the body.

Great looking wheels you made. They look like the RC4WD Dick Cepik wheels but all silver.Keep up the great work.

Looks great, you do awsome work, but why spoil such a nice scale look with holes drilled in the body for the post's when there are much neater ways to mount the body.

ross just ask me and i try to do my best

greenjk you are right.
the start of this project is for a rock vehicle, quick project and only for fun, if you see my other creation you dont see body mount post... after i have started the project i have dicided to make it more real than i can...

but i'm not worry about the hole ;-) i have just in mind how to dont show them...

i'll installa a roof tent on the top like this i have done by myself... and on the front i will create an elastic mesh. if after this work i dont like the hole... i'll swich on my vacuum forming machine and do another body.
