NN Clod Chassis - $189.99 Complete

Kevin, ordered the shocks suggested to complete my NN project (soon I hope!) and was wondering what a good base line would be as far as springs and oil.:? The spings that came on the Hot Bodies threaded shocks seem to be fairly stiff.:? Thanks in advance for advice!:)

I run the stock springs and a heavy oil, like 100 weight. But unlike most other sports, damping rate IMO is not that important in crawling. Also, the spring rate on a stick is not super critical. Although i've definitely found mine to be too soft in the past. I don't like it being too floppy.

Thanks for the 411.

I received a partial order of servo mounts yesterday so kits will be shipping again. I should get most backorders out within a weeks time.

i have to revise the above statement because we are now running low on axle links. They are well into the process and should be done soon. So some kits will ship out now with the servo mounts just received, then the remaining orders won't ship until the links are done. Sorry for the delay again guys. I'm going to try really hard this month to get the NN's back in stock. I'm working on some different processes to decrease production time. You guys have been tough on me with all these orders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just an idea, when you ship out all the backorders you should say that they wont be available until you have enough to last you a while, instead of getting all these backorders?

I used to remove the "add to cart" button all together. But it works out better the way it is now. The only reason I've been so backordered is because i had a very long wait for my plates back in November and December and that has put me so far behind I'm still trying to catch up. All of these delays where situations that where out of my control. The first thing was the plate order, which usually takes 1-2 weeks, it was over 6-8 weeks!!!!! Then the servo mounts. So most of the delays have been out of my control. I'm trying my best to get these back in stock. The main problem with being backordered is it's hard to keep track of inventory because you may have the parts on hand, but they are really accounted for already in a backorder.

I have good news. As of today, all NN back-orders have been filled except for one order, which was placed on the 12th. Although I'm low on one part as of today, it was ordered today and the NN's should be IN STOCK by late next week. I apologize to everyone for the delays and thank you for your patience.
