not sure wear to post this? hope im not braking a rule

It's obvious you're not making any friends here, especially when you're trying to make up shit about your lack of proper spelling, grammar, etc. Give the guy his money back and quit bitching, it's your own damn fault and you definitely will not find any sympathy here. There's been way too many sorry ass idiots come through here wanting a full blown pity party because they feel like they didn't get the proper outcome from a shitty situation that THEY created. Regardless of your age or mental state, if you can get on here and post all the bullshit you've been spewing, you can man the fawk up and take care of your business.

Well, I read through most of this thread and, IMHO, ripp off!
The asking price, way too high, sounds like no effort was made to make sure the rig was in tact or able to run at all.
The buyer, no clue on what he was getting, unable to realise what he was getting due to such poor spelling, grammer and use of the written language.
My advise, seller, go and get some professional lessons on how to read and write english, with the money you got.
Buyer, make sure to double check, and do some research, on the going price of article you intend purchasing.

1)before you post why dont you type into microsoft word so it can correct what you are saying... that being said i call B.S.
2)I never even think about buying things off of ebay if the seller has less than +-98%
3)If you can ever sell anything on ebay having 80% feedback, disclose EVERYTHING so you dont have things like this happen.
4)If you came here to buy a crawler im going to assume that you have read how to get into the bst section...Trying to raise a post count?
5)Why would you fall out of the back of a van? Doing 25? im not a scientist but i think you would have much more sever injurys...

what can I say do not care what you beleve! I was leanig up aginst the back doors. my family was on the way to the drive in theater when it hapened. but I started this post on here to see how members here would handle this guy/ buyer. after reading some of his emails he sent. just to see if maybe a refund was the right thing to do or somthing ells. even though it said right at top of listing under shipping. no refunds. listing said This is a USED truck so there are scratches and scrapes so it is not perfect, please look at pictures. Ask questions before bidding please. PLEASE Contact me through ebay for ANY questions or concerns. he did not ask/ send a email with QUESTIONS untill after he bought and reseved the truck. as for the start pice it was
<TABLE class="vi-sm-plhleft vi-sm-lhtext" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=vi-sm-colorText>Start price:</TD><TD>$1.00</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
he quickle bid a max bid. then others bid up the truck I think to $242.50 trying to ut bid his max bid befor it ended. there wear 39 bids
<TABLE class=vi-is1 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class="vi-is1-lblp vi-is1-solidBg">Winning bid:</TD><TD class="vi-is1-solid vi-is1-tbll">US $242.50</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

so now because he desided to place bids to win the truck. did not ask ? like other buyers did befor they bid. he got a truck shipped to him exatly as it was in the pic's. I sold him every thing that was stated in the listing that it said it sold with. but because it is not perfect or ready to run just add gas and go. you all jump on my aas and say I ow him a refund!! I did not force him to place a bide! I did not say place a bid ask no QUESTIONS just pay me. he jumped the gun not wanting the highest bid to go to higher he placed a bid.

You still don't get that you are the one that gave a weak, vaque discription of an item.

For the second time it's, "I sell dolls."

We don't welcome asshats like you on this site, so piss off.

Aww. It ain't that bad. The guys here are giving you a hard time. You could have saved yourself a whole lot of hassle by using spell check and describing the truck better. I would not be happy to receive a truck like the buyer described. Id refund the money or paypal will just take it back.

I just gave my original .15 T-Maxx away, a few weeks ago, lots of hop-ups and a brand new Megatech M16 motor (the original motor in the megatech box), and clutch assembly, not even broken in yet.
I spent two nights stripping it down, cleaning every part, installing the new motor, and I lubed all the bearings replaced a couple of the SS chassis screws with stripped heads, after reassembly (looked almost brand new) I made sure it all worked properly, adjusted everything, brakes, steering ect. so all the new owner had to do was install batteries and fuel it up, hell, I even printed out the manual and quick start guide for him.
This is the very first RC vehicle that the guy has ever had, he has run it just about every day since, without any problems, now he tells me he's thinking about getting a second one, maybe an E-Revo this time.
The reason for my doing this is, I could have only maybe gotten $100-$150 bucks for it anyway, which IS the going rate, we now have another RC fan/addict in the hobby and to my mind it was well worth my time and effort.
I still have my 2.5 T-Maxx and it's always kept in top condition, this one I'm keeping, I still love running it every now and then.

You kinda asked for this by posting this because nobody on here wants to be screwed over like you did this guy. If you think that 84% is good, than good luck. "thumbsup"

I've been selling and buying on ebay since 03 and I have over 400 100% positive feedbacks. Over 200 of them are from buyers. 100% positive is good enough for me. Its not hard to be a good seller. Just be reasonable and honest. I've only had 3 problems with things I've sold in those years and I've either refunded payment or made it right with the buyer. Hell, one time I had a guy buy a dash trim panel for a older chevy truck from me. And somehow during shipping a clip popped off and started to rub the chrome finish off a corner of the piece. I gave him his money back and told him to keep the part. IMO, that is how you take care of a buyer.

How about I sell you a crawler for $250 and tell you "As is. Any questions, just ask"

Then when it shows up with no tranny gears, no diff gears, bushings supporting the axle shafts, a busted servo, a fried receiver, and doesn't have a body that was on in the picture I'll just say "You didn't ask if all that shit came with it. You got what you saw in the picture, as is. Did you SEE transmission and diff gears? Did you ask if the servo and RX worked? That's my comp body. I didn't know you wanted it and you didn't ask if the body came with it."

Yeah, about that truck Jason... ;-)

I dont give a crape what people think of my spelling or my gramer I am still here!!1

Yes, but people here give a crap about spelling and grammar. Sorry, but if you want anyone to respond to legitimate questions you may post on the board, you'll need to make sure you're not giving them a headache trying to figure out what the hell you're saying in the first place.

Hey, no problem admitting you have a fetish for dolls. I used to be single so I know how it is. A guy gets lonely, and hell, that's why they make these things, right? It's better than a visit from BD

Your one of the few that is honest thats why this is a good lesson for all to check and ask a LOT of questions. and remember to check shipping charges (I've found there almost always WAY too high) here is a good example of this http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAND-NEW-1-10-...ptZRadio_Control_Vehicles?hash=item35a8447b47 notice the shipping charge!!!!! In my opinion most would be better off in the long run by just buying the product from a reputable online dealer, You get better tech support and better overall price period. Flea bay is just good for used stuff if your careful about who you buy from and check it out GOOD and ask lots of questions.

A lot of sellers do that. Its called marketing.
you sell an item cheaper and jump up the shipping charge.
honestly for what they are charging for that, its the same if they listed it at a normal rate.

I still think it's dishonest I got my rs10 for $158.00 shipped and theres a vendor here on this site that's selling them for the same price shipped. I would rather give the honest seller the money. whats the old saying (let the buyer beware)

If you guys dont have any advice about the original topic and are here to make fun of this guy then do yourself a favor and leave.
If you were face to face with this guy and all this was true about him being impaired then im sure you would act differently.
I'm a fraction of most of your ages and i have more common sense.
Im not trying to be a dick but come on.

Not trying to be a dick but you probably also believed ancichf's sob stories.

But the reason that they sell for cheap and ship expensive is because of Ebay fees. Ebay sellers fees are based on the selling price, not shipping charges. Since Ebay cannot make money on shipping charges, the sellers can inflate them and reduce the total dollar amount of the item to reflect a LOW price and therefore the $$ amount of the sellers fee will be less.
Its just a sellers way of ending up with a little more $$ in their pocket.

Ebay fees are TERRIBLE! I've completely stopped buying and selling on Ebay because of them. The last Ebay invoice that I paid was ridiculous. I had recently sold 3 items for a grand total of around 350 bucks. My ebay sellers fee was $80.00!!!!!!!!!! Plus the paypal fees I had to pay to accept the money. Ebay is getting more and more greedy each day. Always sending emails and messages about having to raise their fees because of some BS.

Its not the fact that he lacks proper grammar and sentence structure. It is the fact that he just so happened to leave out the important details of the item that he was selling. Things that a normal buyer would like to know.
Its not right. PERIOD.

Granted, maybe the buyer was being a little over critical about some of the scrapes and scratches on the truck, but there seem to be more than enough other concerns that should have been brought to light before the item was ever sold.
