Notebook PC as Main Computer?

you can get a docking station for a laptop if you choose to go that route. You can use a regular sized mouse, keyboard, and monitor, then just take the laptop when you need it on the go. If you're concerned about security, just get a cable to lock it down. They have many types at places like Office Max etc... My brother has a dock and loves it. It's real simple, there are not cords/cables to attach to the laptop, just shove it in the dock and you're ready.

my 2 cents,
cheers

i would reccomend laptop since you can take it with u, and you dont need to sit at pc desk to check the forum.

i have a fujitsu siemens v3205 and its great really fast, and can handle any game or what ever. i have put in more ram and changed the graphix card. and it costed 12000 nok or about 2000dollars

Again, totally different scenario.
How is someone sitting at a desk, using a laptop computer as their primary machine different from someone sitting at a desk, using a laptop computer as their primary machine?

I have a HP dv8000 that I use all the time.

Whether I'm at home in the living room, in the pit trailer, in the garage, on the road, having steak for lunch...it's with me. (so is work  )

As a matter of fact I'm using it now at the office...with dual monitors. ;)
