Yeah I know I am a few years late to the party but I just discovered these and have a creek nearby that will be perfect for one of these boats.

Links to previous RCC Jet Boat Builds that I used for info.
RolandRockShop
HyperMark
Waffle
Turtle

Parts I'll be using.
3000kv 380 Brushless Motor
Hobby Wing 35 amp ESC
Fly Sky TX/RX
HPI Waterproof Servo

sweet build Keith killer paint i reall like the cap and plug wire look m going to have to do that to mine no pics under the cowl?

Everything installed and working. Now, waiting on a warm day to try it out.

I did have to cut my motor mount off of the impeller unit and move it close. Also ordered a coupler to fit the bigger motor shaft.

Link to coupler.

these boats are a kick in the pants...
I have built a few on them now...

did you sleeve the pump for the prop shaft??

and you can put an outlet at the stator for esc or motor water cooling..."thumbsup"

boat looks great, like the paint......"thumbsup""thumbsup"

Thanks! This is the first RC build my daughter has gotten excited about so I let her pick the colors.

I have not sleeved the pump. What is the benefit of doing that?

I did add water cooling and take it for its maiden voyage. My tube bending is terrible so the coil looks horrible but it works. I need to add a little weight to keep it from losing prime and turn the steering down but other than that it is good to go. Very fun.
