MIDWESTRCC SCALE TRAIL CHALLENGE FALL 2014 RULES
- Fastest time wins.
- Racers can start in as little as 2 minutes apart. (this is at the discretion of the event coordinator) If you are obstructing a faster participant you are required to give right of way to the faster driver.
- Courses should be greater than 5 but less than 10 minutes in length.
- Scale points based on SORRCA rules 2 seconds off per point, 60 point max.
- 35-40 gate courses.
- 30 second penalty for straddling a gate.
- 60 seconds for missing a gate completely.
- No penalty for bumping the gate, but all four tires have to progress through the gate.
- Rollover can be done by using a towstrap pulled by your hand, but will result in a 30 second penalty.
- DNF for touching your truck, you must use a tow strap or winch to rollover.
- 60 second penalty for repairs. The time keeper must be notified at time of breakage to stop time. If repair cannot be completed in under 15min, then DNF.
- No reverse penalty.
- 2 classes 1.9 & 2.2
- 1.5 runs with 1.9
- No comp tires, same ban list as SORRCA.
- You can sipe and cut or remove lugs, you can sand the sidewalls inside and out.
- No narrowing, reducing or enlarging tires.
- No dig or rear stear.
- No MOA.
- Rig has to be scale in apperance, no comp style rigs. If it's questionable, then ask before the series starts.
At the start of each series you will be required to email a picture of your rig and your total scale point allowance to the event coordinator. Rigs will be inspected at the time of the event as well, however this pre registration will expedite the process.
The goal of this adventure challenge is to promote scale RC enthusiasts in a fun yet challenging series. Sportsmanship is key. This will be a family atmosphere and everyone will conduct their selves accordingly. We need to show the positive side of our sport and encourage each other as well as newcomers.
If you are caught cheating you will be banned from the rest of the series with no refund of entry fee
