Well, long time listener first time poster?! Lol

Been around scalers for a long time but decided this would be the best time to start a thread!

Starting with a new Vs-410 ultra for a base, such an amazing kit and I was lucky enough to get one through my LHS on the pre order.

Plans
Vs 410 ultra kit
Holmes 3300kv pro puller stubby
Caslte mamba X esc
Protek 370tbl
Kms Km3 servo winch w/heyok controller
Cnc customs 1.9 methods w/locked up rings and scale hardware
1.9 rc4wd thornbirds

This will be my first attempt at cage work, I absolutely love the Dynamic concepts bronco body and am lucky enough to own an original lexan version as well as a styrene vacuum formed one. The lexan will be my mock up and once tubing and cage is all figured out ill be throwing the styrene on.

Soon as the kit showed up I got busy assembling. Amazing quality, fit and finish are amazing!

Got it as a roller in a few hours at the bench, again. Very impressed with this kit!

Decided to send the half cab Body to Errik Soots at Soots Scale painting so I could run this body while cage was being built and I learned now to braze.

And the thornbirds showed up while waiting for the body to get back.

Such a killer stance!

Started talking with Tim ( Warpig ) about some tubing and a cage and he asked why I don't do it myself.... that was a good question. Lol so looked around at some ideas, got some styling ideas and looked up some supplies and pulled the trigger on some materials. Ordered up 120in of 3/16th DOM from Dspro (Rgerrish) and some fab tabs from Scaler Fab. While waiting for stuff to show up I got digging around in here and on Pirate for cage ideas. I found alot of Tims cages have alot of ideas I had in my head.

Long rear hoops, nice low main hoop and some added support and beauty bars.

The 1:1 inspiration is actually one Tim used on his EB truggy build and it looks almost perfect to what I want, I guess this is turning into a mini warpig tribute build hahahah

Excellent kit build! If your attention to detail with a stock kit is this good, I can't wait to see the tube start flying. Keep up the excellent work, sir!

Thank you! Hoping this comes out half as good as it looks in my head! Definitely had a great base to build off of!
Hose are some sick builds. Awesome work.

Wow, first thread huh? Pretty fricken impressive work man. A couple things immediately come to my mind. 1st is a quote. “Beware the quiet man. For while others speak, he watched. And while others act, he plans. And when they finally rest... he strikes”
2nd is, as Eric Clapton thought when he first saw Hendrix...well that’s it for me, guess it’s time to retire.
Haha, did I just compare myself to Clapton?

Yep! First build thread!

Im hoping I can come up with something as close to the Quality of those builds, they have been builders and builds I have been looking up to all these years and have become close friends with some of them.

This is my old toyzuki chassis with Hotwheels00 cage work. I wanted something more trail oriented on this round.
