So I made a post about the "occumom" and decided to go to the official occupy website to peruse what other new retarded things they are plotting.

Suddenly after about 10 minutes on their site. Having only rcc and that up in my tabs on firefox, firefox shut down, no error no crash just plain shut down. Then a wonderful "virus scanner" popped up and opened windows security center.

So I popped open task manager and noticed a new program running called OXB.exe It is a version of the AXB.exe malware and it completely takes over your system shutting down anything that connects you to the web.

I popped over to my linux partition and updated my combofix, and hijack this and came back over to get rid of it. I started to run both one at a time and it deleted the source files I was running them from! So I ran my TDSSkiller and it got rid of it.

Anyway wanted you all to be aware of this virus and where it comes from, what it does, and how to remove it. It is as of yet not listed on the technical forums I use and not in the trend micro virus library that I can find. So I would say it is fairly new.

Download TDSSKiller 2.6.17.0

Safe link above to download TDSSkiller.

I had that OBX file try to come through when I was looking for pics on Photobucket, Safari and Norton's blocked it. People who program these things need to have their fingers broke.

Hopefully your solution works.....I followed every step on this, did nothing but a temp fix.....always reared its head again. In the end, I had to reformat and reinstall.......worked fine for a while, got hit again.....saved time and just reinstalled.

I'd love to find the piece of shit who wrote it.....

Later EddieO

Doesn't effect my PC or my Mac. Weird what happens if you prepare for the worst...you get the best.

Didnt bother my Kaspersky protected XP :ror:

Kapersky is who writes TDSSKiller. It's my if all else fails use virus remover.

I own a small computer company and do all my testing for stuff like this on xp and then I can let my customers know. Figured I would share the info with you guys too. I run Linux Mint 9 for myself.

As to buying a Mac, I wouldnt own one of those if you paid me. Great mobile and mp3 players crap computers. They are all IBM parts with a rebuilt ubuntu linux.

No IBM parts in Mac's, never was.

And it doesn't use Ubuntu or Linux, it uses a customized version of Unix.

ok, macs are overpriced over hyped heaps of plastic.

Typical post from you. I'm just pointing out that what the other poster claims to know about Mac's is wrong. Lots of people think XR-10s are overhyped heaps of plastic, doesn't mean that an opinion is fact. Eventually you'll realize both obviously work and buy the one you like.

And then to the OP that none of my computers have attained the virus, be they Windows 7, XP, or Mac.
