OCK 2014 Summer Series #5 return to Castle Craig

Hello everyone

Off Camber Krawlers next comp in the summer series is right around the corner August 3rd at Castle Craig 999 west mainst in Meriden CT 06037..

The comp area will be at the top near the antenna .when you get to the fork in the road go to the right and follow to the end .we will be a short walk out to the ledge.

When you enter the park follow the road around the pond to the pool .go stright past the pool keeping it on your right to the stop sign and take a left .we will be waiting for the gate to open that leads you to the top of the mountain.

Start time 9:30 tech 10:00 am we will start first course for shafty and 2.2 pro to follow.

We will be running 2.2 pro ,shafty and if there is enough vehicles for trail class we will run that aswell.

What's the scoop on the comp? Still on or questionable because of weather? Was thinking about attending this one, I like this spot and wanna get out for some practice. Hope the weather holds out...

At least it better not I wanna try out the M4 radio :mrgreen:..I will be checking the weather in the morning..but I say its on.

Weather.gov is saying 50% chance of rain. there have been times when they did not open the gate due to possible rain??? just an fyi.

Well looks like mother nature doesn't want us to go crawling at Castle Craig. Rain on and off all day doesn't make for a fun day of rock crawling...
We could always goto RC Madness today..what do you guys think..??
August 24th is our next posted comp ..we could always shoot for that day for this location.."thumbsup"

Looks like we are going to goto madness and have some fun at 11:30 that should give everyone plenty of time to get there.��..

Ok, I'm heading to Madness... I'll be a little later than 10 though since I slept in when I saw the weather was poop. Should be there around 10:30.

We are going to shoot again for Castle Craig .on August 24th..same time same place sense Mother Nature didn't want us to crawl there this past Sunday..or our first shot on mothers day 3rd times a charm I guess.

Sunday was a great time at RC Madness tho thank you for making the trip down Bob and Dan .I think we made some nice gates that were pushing us ever closer to what our trucks can do and not do..I am glad you guys could make it....I hope we get to see you on the 24th at Castle Craig in Meriden CT.
