Tig

Mine is tig welded. I would like to brush up on my tig and try to make some fun stuff. It would also be nice to own a good tubing bender small Mill and TIG welder, then I could take over the world.

@Danny and Kris.....I just burn green backs really HOT. :) My frames are done like Kris's.....solid steel rod, tig welded, by Mattzilla. I bought one used chassis from Mattzilla and am working on another. The only reason I'm doubling up on any of these is so my boy can drive one at the same time with me. I'll probably only end up keeping one though. There's too much to vest in one of these wallet rapers.....let alone the equipment to make a few. At this point, I figure that I'm still money ahead.

I've been doing the research and comparing the two. And getting welding equipment is out of question due to price and space I have (rent a room). So I will end up trying brazing. Thanks guys.

What's going on here? Secret meetings with Lou, secret builds, liquidating old parts. What do you have up your sleeve?
If you are building an ultra4 rig for Glen Helen I'll tell you what, you can tie your rig behind mine and I'll tow you to a second place finish.

LOL.....nothing really secret about it....more just self conscious about its incompleteness! Still waiting on some parts, haven't had time to spend on the chassis. I'm working on some structural issues....configurations, etc. if I can't get this thing more complete, I'll have to take you up on that tow line! It's good to have friends. Ahhhhh.....I still remember when I was happy pulling out a RTR. What have YOU (Kris) and Lue done to me? :lmao: DEVILS!!!!

BTW, Kris, how's the clubhouse build going? Are we going to get back on that soon?

NO....it's a Race War when.....I say something like, 'Good luck! I'll kill it, even with Kris and Brad's rigs piggy backed to mine!' BUT....let's not be kidding ourselves. If you've ever looked at Kris's rig, with his many of experience on the track, it's born to race. HOWEVER, I can tell you this, the guys that are going to Glen Helen are pretty amazing. There are so many new innovations coming out each day, it is amazing to watch the evolution of these rigs. No wonder I'm addicted.

Peace!

What I would really like to know is why we didn't know that you might be leaving us?

Aahh. My secret is out. A move is a distant possibility. I can't rent my house forever. My landlord god love her is in her late 80s now and I'm sure her kids will sell the place when the time comes. The move would be a preemptive attempt to provide some more security for the family.

Understandable. Who doesn't want security for the family? Not to mention that if I were to move to a completely different area that place would be very appealing. So in the meantime we will enjoy having Kris here until that distant possibility. 8)

If I do buy a house in the Murrieta Temecula area you can be sure it will have pool and a huge yard to fit Nunes ultra4 rock course design and a new bar.

You mean this one?

My sketch contribution for the South Bay club house!!! The schematic shows an integrated bar/ultra 4 track/rock crawl arena.....fully landscaped and integrated for a nice overall visual presentation (ie....something that even wives can appreciate).

What'cha think...feedback?

Where did I miss the thread or post on Krisco's move? It's hard to move the 15 tons of stone being delivered to your house on Saturday. :lmao::lmao::lmao: AND the pool.....AND the half pipe....AND, AND, AND!!!
