Official Beach City Crawlers Home Page. Los Angeles/Orange County area.

Whats going on guys, new to the forum. Is there anything going on up in the Orange county area. This thread seemed a bit dead. New to scale crawling but not 1:1. Thanks!

Its my fault. I've been doing other things lately. Had to move and such. But I did get the backyard crawling course done.

Been quite some time since any posts in this thread. Any new spots in the OC area? Just ordered my first crawler so I'll be looking for some good places when I gets here.

Hey man! Welcome! PM me and Dyno there and we can set you up with the FB group. We sort of merged with another group called Renegade Rock Runners. I am personally located in the southbay so if you're a local we've got a few others as well. We mostly hit up Vasquez Rocks on the weekends for our crawl meetups as a group.

No FB. Not a social media person. Found a few spots through reading your thread but then you guys went dark.lol

Doubtful, maybe I could use my ladies.hahaha. I actually read through the renegade thread before I found the beach cities one. Looks like that one is pretty up to date.
Any chance you could make one just for this? Everything gets posted there. All the events and get togethers.

Trust me, Facebook is the one that's up to date. It's not only about knowing the locations, but going out as a group. You'll have much more fun with other people. You can simply install the app just for that purpose. I'm sure you will enjoy it. There's lots of OC guys there too like you. I'm in Santa Ana. And we have a nice spot right by you in Huntington Beach.

Yea. FB is just so much easier to keep in touch and plan things out. We have a few more spots now that arent listed here. But yea PM me and maybe we can swap cell phone numbers at the least. I can always hit you up when we go out.

We don't FB either. But look here and wcrccrawlers.com for GTGs... we went to one at Vazquez a while back and it was a blast. Looking forward to another one!

West Coast RC Crawlers is a great group. Their get togethers are awesome and they go all out. But you will miss out on all the little crawling get togethers people usually make. Like people will post on Facebook, "Hey, I'll be heading out to such place tomorrow, who wants to go" and those that can and want to will go. I'm a member of wcrcc, but I do see a lot more small get togethers on Facebook.

Hi. I just joined RC Crawler and I'm literally a week into crawling. I just got a Bomber last weekend. My kid is already bugging me for a Wraith. Just looking for groups in the LA area that crawl. I figure it's gotta be more fun with others. Anyways. Just saying hello.

I finally hit up Columbia Park in Torrance. It was my first time actually crawling other than a rock pile I've been using when I would visit my parents house.

Not sure if it's my lame driving skill or the long wheelbase of my RR10 but I seem to get hung up a lot on the skid. I've already got the parts to shorten the wheelbase using twin hammers trailing arms. We'll see how that goes.

I noticed there were a lot more posts about this spot a few years ago but they seemed to drop off. I thought possibly the local PD or park rangers were hassling crawlers but I saw 2 rangers and a few park employees and they said nothing. Is there a reason people don't go here anymore? I went really early because I know this park gets REALLY crowded and I didn't want a bunch of kids bugging me. lol
