I just put it out that if you need rocks and dont want to pay for them well the cost of gas. I know of a place. It dosent need to be this weekend. I too am thinking of checking out the scale crawl with Hostile RC Crawlers this Sunday it is 5 minutes from my house.

Im actually thinking of going to the Hostile RC gtg. It's not that far from where I'm at, and I haven't been out in a WHILE! ( like 3-4 weeks.... IM GOING CRAZY!!!!!) But Monday, I may go to Marina Del Rey if there are others that would like to go.

I didnt see an address on there. Anyone know?

3260 Fairway Dr, Pico Rivera, CA 90660
Park in the golf course parking lot, near entrance on the side of the riverbed. Free parking.

The set time is for 5pm. Although Jay and Victor say they will show up at 4pm.

If there's plans to work on the home course I would go after church to help out. Just let us know what the plans are.

Got logs??

I will be working on the rocks Sunday and Monday part of the day, but I'm only going to be building the sub structure for the rocks. I'm probably only going to have time to work on it maybe three four hours a day. I think that's where most of the design and planning will be so I have a feeling it's going to go slow. I wouldn't want guys over at my house just standing around waiting for me to figure out what the hell I'm doing. If people would like to come over and help I think the time would be better spent for when we are actually placing the rocks and figuring out exactly how everything will be.

As for Colombia on Sunday who is down? Should we set a time and make it official?

Thanks a ton. I may take you up on the rock offer, I may have enough right now. I also have a wholesale stone yard where I can pick out what rocks I want for super cheap. I think it was like $50 a ton.

Yeah Jay. I have the Dingo scx10 available if someone needs to borrow one. Just let me know so i can get batteries for the transmitter.

I have my SCX all up and running. So i'll be driving that. I'll even bring the trailer out just for fun (If I can remember to pack it in the car...)
Is anyone bringing any cameras? should I bring the GoPro? I'll share footage with other editers if they want.... Or Im MORE then happy to take your footage and piece together little clips. ( Jay's Crawling Project - YouTube is the link to the small playlist of the videos I have put together of past gtg's and outings)

you can buy it by the yard from most places. I think it may be better then buying by the ton. But I could be wrong. (and I might just be thinking about river rocks, not boulders)

I have officially started on the construction of the beach city crawlers home rock garden scale course extravaganza.

I'm not gonna be able to make the Hostile get together. I am down for columbia park Sunday though. Is anyone wanting to make that? I am available anytime. Kris I'm down for it to be set in stone. And once you're ready for some muscle on the crawler course build let me know. I can be persuaded to carry some rocks in my truck if needed as well. It's a light pickup so cant go too crazy but I've carried a washer and dryer in the back at the same time. Was fine.

Wow Kris that's awesome!

Danny....you're awesome! Thanks for your support of the club house build! Cash and materials!!! See ya soon! I'm glad you liked my sketch too! I'm inspired to do something really nice too. Maybe not with a bar, but a little course at home. Problem is, I have 50 projects going on, usually.

Peace!
