~Official Jeep FC Concept revealed today!!

looking at it closer, it doesnt have the look of a concept. The headlights appear to be working, the grill looks to have a radiator etc. Most concepts are just smoke and mirrors to give you the idea of what they "could build". I still doubt we will see one of these in the US but, maybe they are planning to release it to compete with the mog over in europe.

we get screwed out of everything cool here in north america

Yeah its not going to be a production vehicle here in the states, I'd bet money on that. The bed needs to be deeper also.;-)

MEH, it's not an original design by a long shot, they even tried to copy VW's plaid interiors.

These are even cooler and are still in production- T3 crew cabs, syncros ( 4wd for you uneducated fools) and 5cyl. TDi.

I'm not knocking it completely, I think it's kinda cool- it's just not original. VW was making Transports before Willys ever built their first FC's.

if they did want to sell it in the US, i wonder if they could even get it to pass frontal impact testing?
although the smart car passed i guess. this thing would probly just go up and over anything it would run into with no damage :lmao:

Move closer to Detroit, most of the "concepts" from the big three I have seen in the past ten years are fully functional. Then again, we see stuff around here, on the street, in camo that most people won't see for another three to four years.

Seems like Jeep had the original idea in the 50's and the VW copied them..

Looks like someone grafted a Jeep grill onto a Mogg.

Like was mentioned not very original but I like it, even though we'll never see it here.

i would buy that FC in a split second and never look back! I am about to buy the original FC this weekend hopefully.

My thoughts exactly!! I'm thinking class 1 myself...I'm tired of RPMJ totally dominating our class 1 scene with his Mog  I'm coming after you Rodney!!

well i contacted Dynamic Concepts to see if he would be interested in making this body for us. and he said he would in the future if there was enough intrest!

if youd like to see this body made, PM him here letting him know!

(DONT post in the thread and clutter it with unrelated material, simply PM him)
