I was on vacation in Hawaii 3 weeks ago. It was cheaper for me to stay for 8 days in a nice Condo with 8 day 4door jeep Wrangler rental in Maui then it is to stay 5 days in Truckee at the Best Western and a econo car. Doesn't make sense.:x:x

I know I'm trying to figure out the whole lodging deal with out dropping $1000 just for a shower and a place to sleep
I think evryone is trying to price the trip under a stack, so far my flight for me and my sponsor (girlfreind) lol was looking at 700.00 with an econo car, so still have to register thats 75.00 and find somewere to sleep, shower, gas for the econo, and lets not forget food lolol.

I really wish I could, I've been looking forward to it since we left last year, but with no work lined up, just can't swing it:-(

You let me know how it goes bro,
My sister lives in Auburn Ca. and this is where we are staying.
I can make the drive from seattle to auburn in 12 hours. I do this trip 3 or 4 times a year.
I can make the drive from my sisters up HWY 80 to donner in 35 min.
I grew up down there and the price of a room up there is ridiculus, so to me the drive is worth it.
You are more than welcome to stay with us and drive down with us.
I have an 05 4door superduty that sits 5 and only Jimmy and I are rollin.
Just an idea with hopes to help a brutha out.
