Hard to get a good shot, but here's one of my Boom Racing Pro Build wheels. Pretty neat concept, multiple offsets possible depending on how you build them. The center section is removable with many centers to choose from. These are the Neo Chrome style. Tires are the XL version, G8 compound.

Met a fellow rock crawler on the trail today. Tried to get some traction tips, but he was pretty tight-lipped about the whole thing. "thumbsup"

A little update on the Interceptor build. New links and U.D. gears. I love how they color-coded them. Saves me a few headaches.

I like companies that go tat extra step."thumbsup"

Me too, and the decal sheet is a nice touch.

The new links bumped up the original wheelbase from 12.0 to 12.3, moving the panhard rod position. Took some tinkering to get it back in line. So far, so good!

I know most of us are not fans of RTR's as a general rule, but for some reason I kinda dig this oddball rig.

Well, I just spent $1000 on stuff to build another truck.:roll:

Guess I'm back. Where is gonna be the best place to go in the early spring. Hoping to go soon.

It doesn't take long to add up quickly, does it. I'm sure it'll be a killer rig. Care to give me a hint what direction you're going with it? I'm looking at recycling/revamping something already in my hoard. But brand new rigs are always tempting.

Not sure what won't be too sloppy this time of year. I know how much you hate mud.

I have a set of SSD axles and a two speed trans, a std 3 gear trans. I'm thinkin' that's almost a full truck so I figured I'd buy an SCX10 Chassis.....

and wheels and tires and shocks and servos and speed control and motor and and and........
Still more stuff I'll need but that'll get me started. Don't even have an idea for a body yet.
I might use the old 66 ford body again. It's in real good shape but I'm open for ideas.

Esc and Crawlmaster 13T brushed motor Holmes of course and I splurged on a Holmes servo. Incision shocks Hetok servo winch Gearhead Trail king Ez loc wheels proline flat irons Crawler inovation foams and a reciever for my radio. Still gonna need some driveshafts maybe.
