After I got my first TRX-4 kit a few years ago, I put away my original SCX-10 Dingo kit, which I had upgraded quite a bit. After letting a friend wheel my TRX-4, she felt overwhelmed by the ability to unlock/lock the diffs, etc. So she asked if there was anything simpler to try out, which led me to rebuild my SCX-10. This will also be a loaner rig. Here is where she is currently.
Chassis: Scale Shop SS-chassis (if I remember correctly)
Transmission: Built 3-gear Vanquish (I am debating on whether or not to throw in a cheap Amazon SCX/Wraith 2spd w/ dig, that's if I can get it to work)
Body: MST J45C Land Cruiser truck body with flatbed. (I am in the process of making the rear body mount. Color unsure of)
Electronics: uncertain at this time, except that it will be running my old Spectrum DX4 radio.
Axles: Vanquish SCX10 AR60 axles, running LockUp RC axle shafts front and rear. (I need to take apart the front axle and figure out why and where it's binding. It does roll, but not smoothly.)
Front Bumper and Winch: SSD Rock Shield and SSD Ox winch, running HeyOk winch controller.
Wheels: off-brand 1.9" beadlock, but they are compatible with the Vanquish SLW hub.
Tires: RC4WD Interco IRok 1.9"
