i got my Traxxas Jato Rod Ends in to day and i got 6 feet of Threaded rod quarter inch. i was told that it fit and i cant get it to. plz help. i have tried grinding the threaded rod in a cone to help it in no good , i have tried drilling out the rod end no luck."thumbsup"

I drill and tap all of my rod ends first. I t really makes it alot easier and you can make them fit what size you want (within reason)."thumbsup"

I use 8/32 myself.

correct me if im wrong but, if you simplify that fraction 8/32 and divide it by two you get 4/16 which can still be reduced to 2/8 which can be reduced to 1/4 so what he has should work right? I dont understand if it comes out to the same thing why it wouldnt work?:-?

stay in school:lol:

#8 is the diameter, 32 threads per inch. Makes about as much sence as drill bit size F but there ya go.
