Okay, correct me if im wrong...

Im going to repaint the outsides of 2 old bodies i have in flat black."thumbsup"

this is my plan, wash the bodies.

then paint the outside in normal black lexan spray paint.

let dry and then spray the outside again w/ krylon camo black?

add stickers and smile right?"thumbsup"

I did it once but I did it a little different. Skip the lexan paint as it will be your weak link. Heres how I did mine and it held up great. Never cracked, popped or peeled.

Wash the body with dish soap and hot water.
Mask off the windows
Scuff/sand the body thoroughly with a scuff pad. This parts important, if you see any shiny areas thats where the paint wont stick. Scuff it good.
blow off with compressed air and wipe down with a clean micro fiber cloth
paint with flat black krylon

A scotch brite pad is what I meant when I said scuff pad. NO a wire brush is WAY too course and will make your bodies look terrible. I used a green scotch brite pad but a red, green or grey pad will all work fine. Even some 400 or 600 grit sand paper would work ok.

took me calling 5 walmarts and a dozen other places, but i FINALLY found that Krylon Fusion Camo Flat Black....

couple lil scoth brite pads, and ill have myself a decent lil project until my new steering knuckles come in on Thursday.

Damn, I thought my 164oz was a lot. But I usually break my knuckle the old fashioned way, by tumbling down a mountain doing cartwheels.

If your gonna use scotch brite pad, red, grey, even gold but might be getting a little to fine, put your soap on the pad and scotch brite it in the sink, save a step. Worked for me and thats the way we prep OEM raw plastic bumpers at work, only with special expensive car sanding soap lol
