Sold a TLT on egay.
Shipped via UPS with tracking info.
Package gets delivered but guy is away on business.
Package gets stolen.
Guy complains he never got item.
Send delivery confirmation.
Guy says but it's not here and that he wants me to file a claim!
I say you should have said you would be away and I would ship later.
Guy says I am on road 3 days a week can't be waiting home for deliveries.
I say, wtf does that matter to me?
Guy files claim with Paypal for "non-receipt"
Paypal freezes my account
I send proof of delivery to Paypal.
Paypal is taking sweet time doing anything to resolve this.
Meantime, camera auction is ending on ebay.
I email winner 3 times NOT to send Paypal.
Next day, winner sends Paypal.
My life sucks.

Time for me to look into another method of collecting money.

Better yet, stay the f*ck away from Ebay. That place is FULL of scammers, liers, cheats, thiefs, and over priced cr*p.

Not punching you while your down, I just hate Ebay for reasons you are going through. To tell you the truth, I don't like selling stuff to anyone over the computer, even here. It is WAY to easy for the seller to look like a shmuck when buyers are the biggest problem. People do stuff on Ebay and For Sale/Trade boards that they would never try with a brick and mortor store or a person face to face.

I don't like dealing with E-Bay either. When I do buy stuff off E-Bay. It's from a store in the US with over 1000+ postive feedback. I have been scammed once or twice just in the last 6 months. But I was able to catch them in the act. One guy was and is still a Member here.

My question is if there is someone on this board scamming other members, why are they still allowed here? Same goes for a certain vendor people seam to have a lot of issues with..(Im sure we all know which one that is, the one that people always try and use the excuse "but they carry products I cant get elsewhere" to try and make it seam ok.). Makes me wonder sometimes. ZBigBadWolf - Sorry for your unfortinate circumstance, hopefully you are given your paypal rights back.

Same crap happen to me on ebay selling video games, This guy had is item stolen he says even though he had tracking number. He said it was stolen out his mail box... and then all that crap liek you said happen to me........ Then on a chitty rc site i sold a guy a traxxas jato that was almost brand new.. The guy gets it and says the motor is blown, Then the next week after the site bans me I see him posting about how wonderful the engine runs in the car I sold him. So before that he filed a complaint to get money back from paypal, and needless to say he lost I won, I just can't go to that site anymore.

I've been on eBay for years and with Paypal since they were 4 guys working out of a basement. This is the first time I've ever been hit by a scammer like this. The guy is evidently trying to get something for nothing. If you sell to computer-associates be extremely cautious and get SIGNATURE.

After going through his feedback history, I found he's done this at least 4 times before.

I know it sucks but you should win this one. You covered your a$$ on everything, with the tracking or delivery confirmation. The sucky part is having to wait the 30 days for Paypal to do it's investigation.

Been with paypal for years. When Epay bought them customer service and all other service went to crap.

I would like to find another reliable source to send money.
