I was swapping out the oil in a few of the Velvet shocks on my Sportsman truck the other day and noticed that it didnt have the o-ring in the cap....I guess I accidentally left it out last time I opened it up. It hadn't leaked a drop. "thumbsup"Hey Jeremy......
Yes i am using the stock o-ring but my tolerances are so tight I wonder if I have to.............hmmm
May have to try one without to see if it leaks
Shipping you some next week ;-)
Regards Rick
Rick, truck looks great...though we need to try it on the Vert rock from hell. So far not many can, but I think yours will be good on it with those tires.

Oh, and thanks. ;-)
I've run the Kyosho shocks on my SC10 with the bottom screw in retainer for the o-ring pack on the collar for a full 7 minute race and didnt leak any oil, so not having the upper o-ring would likely lead to similar results, Kyosho builds some very nice tolerances in.

I've been at "Larry's" every day since I got her done
3 to four hours a day practicing with "Old Tim" and "XJFarmer"
If the "Vert Rock from Hell" is the one at the corner of the course, then
I can tell you that I was finally able to get over it several times today.....8)
But its no easy task !!
I made up a bunch out of 16th" Brass as I needed to space my wheels out
about a 16th to keep my tires from rubing on my steering rod ends........Thanks Jeff ;-)
No one invited me!!!! You guys going up tomorrow? I need to test my skunkworks tires out up there...
Keep a pair for me to buy!!! I always wanted something like that to get a touch more on my knuckle weights and limited right now.
WOW....
That's good to know
But are you running them upside down?
I'll let you test........;-) lol
Adding a supprise with your Shock Caps (Hint.....look below)
