ONTARIO, CANADA Crawlers......are you out there!

Hey Its AMG4ME on here and socrawl.com... hopefully I will see you out sometime this year with my Yeti.

Hey guys, i live in Melbourne Australia, and will be travelling to Toronto for a holiday next week. over here RC stuff is very expensive and most shops stock just RTR and brand name stuff, where are some good shops around Toronto to take a look and stock up on cool stuff to bring home? I'm into axials for crawling i have 2 scx10s and a wraith, also after some spares for my yeti xl if i can find the parts i need(hard to get in aus)

cheers
Bentley

Where are you staying in Toronto? We have a few good shops that are very well stocked as we have a pretty big crawling scene up here. Feel free to check out our dot com site or the socrawl Facebook group.

I'm not sure about Toronto, I'm sure others can help out. If you're heading to see Niagara Falls you drive right past Skycraft Hobby in Burlington, 2 min off the highway. They have kits, some Axial parts and Vanquish too. Not a gigantic selection but a nice selection. Hopefully others chime in to help out a visitor.

cheers for the info, but nah i wont be heading there, been there a few times already when i was younger, I'm only going to be in the city for about 8 or so days, I have already done all the touristy things (CN tower, Niagra falls etc) so sticking to shopping and catching up with family this trip. wouldn't mind heading out to some crawl spots if i get time, to see what its like, as i may possibly be moving to toronto in around 12 months time and if i do at least i know you guys love crawling too.
where i live in melbourne we have heaps of awesome areas all in a 20km radius or so of where i live.

Well welcome again, did you bring a crawler? Check the Socrawl Facebook or Socrawl.c o m, guys go out lots on weekends (today). And lots of areas to crawl, you just have to drive a bit, the whole area is so populated.

For crawler stuff,
HobbyHobby in Streetsville
GTA Hobbies in Mississauga
Xtreme R/C is probably the best in stock for crawlers - esp. Axial. They are in Oshawa about 45 east of Toronto.
Galaxy Hobby and Gift in Mississauga is pretty good - not a ton of crawler stuff but you might find a few things.

If you have relatives in Toronto you could order from GCM and have it shipped there. Wicked fast shipping. Good selection of stuff.

Hope you have a good time while you're here.

Hi everyone. Are there any groups in Toronto that get together and go on trails?

I have a few trucks but don't think they're serious crawlers so i guess trails are better suited for them/me.

The ones i have are: Trailfinder 2, Axial Jeep Rubicon, CC-01 Jeep Wrangler & CC-01 Pajero.

Please let me know if you are in any groups or know of any or if you're looking for someone to go trailing with too

Hello all. I am in Durham region, interested in crawlers, looking for crawler groups. Just bought Redcat Everest 10 to get my feet wet. Been in all kinds of RC for 40 years, mostly flying. Thanks to new government regs and DJI that will start dying soon.
So far what I see, rock crawling in Ontario does not look very healthy either but I am hoping! Please let me know if there is anything going on out there?!?
