Yo nexus and kapti!! Been away from the forum for a while. I run with a group called Local Crawlers that is OC based. We hit spots all over the area. They're more FB based than on the forum but if you want to meet up some time your welcome to. We do evening crawls during the week, normally on thursdays, and sat/sun morning sessions also. Couple spots we hit are in Huntington, Corona Del Mar, Irvine, Trabuco, Orange. There should be another thread in here with more posts.

Would like to know where the spot in HB is? I am a local, and haven't found many places to crawl.

Local to HB. Was tempted to crawl the rocks by the beach (Brookhurst/PCH), or maybe Sheep Hills to bash around (probably too many bikes).
A lot of the bike guys don't like the rc stuff in their jumps too. The BC spot has an area for bashing and an area for trailing/crawling. Do you have lights on your crawler? Haven't heard anything yet but guys normally get together on thursday evening. If we hit the BC spot, the bash rigs come out first then we swap to the Crawlers and head down to the spots. Have you checked out Corona Del Mar? It's not too far from HB and a pretty fun spot. Quite a few people down their right now because it's summer.

Been down to the BC spot a few times in the last week. Trailed around, and found the bike area (no bikes). Where are the crawl spots? Down the hill?
It's kind of hard to explain. There's some stuff near the bike area but there's a new area that guys have been working on down the hill and around the corner a little ways. There's a couple options of how to get down there. PM me next time your heading that way and I'll try to meet you there

Would love to start crawling with my SCX10 II kit I recently built - have a buddy in Placentia that built a crawler also and we are looking for good places to have fun. I live in Huntington Beach at Brookhurst & Garfield and heard people mention an HB spot to crawl?

End of Bolsa Chica there is a crawl spot I hear. Haven't found it yet
But there are some awesome places to bash by the bike jumps.

The newer crawl area is actually out of the pic. It's farther down and to the left of the pic. We used to crawl right next the the jumps but everything that guys built kept getting destroyed. There's also trails along the hillsides.
