Original Design (2009) - 2.2 and 1.9 dual stage foams

Any pictures of them on a berg? The fight for good foams is never ending here in Utah with the way the weather changes so drastically.

If you have pics, what's your rig weigh?

I need get pictures of them on my berg:oops:. Between the rainy weather, having the flu, and... I just haven't had time. Let me see what I can do about some pics and video.

My berg weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces RTR.
I am using Mayhem 7's front and rear. I have one wrap of 1/4 ounce weight in the front and my front wheels are aluminum 7's. The rear wheels are delrin 7's with no weight.

Here is some updated video of my berg running Rovers with my 2.2 dual stage foam in it. The rig weighs 6 pound 6 ounces. I am running Mayhem 7's bead locks. The fronts are aluminum 7's while the rears are delrin 7's. there is one wrap of 1/4 ounce weight around each front wheel and no weight in the rear. The foams are exactly the same front and rear.

All of these videos were taken using my Kodak digital camera which I am sure is not great. My 7yr old son took the video while I drove.

This is my son's berg. I have yet to post a build thread on it but it is a CDW LT2 berg. It has aluminum Mayhem 7's front and rear. The front has one wrap of 1/4 ounce weight while the rear has none. It is running my 2.2 dual stage foams front and rear with Pro-Line Chisel tires. It weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces. He is seven years old and did all the driving while I did the filming.

how thick is the white foam on the 40 series? i think my 1.9s are 1/2"
 
I got mine in the mail and will be testing them asap. I really like what I'm seeing and feeling so far:)

Thanks Cory:oops:. The firm inner foam will be 1 inch thick and the soft outer foam will be 3/4 thick. The proto types should be done next.8)

What other tires have you tried these in? What compound Rovers are you running?

I'm currently running the medium compound Rovers, but I've been considering switching to the Panther Leopard. I liked the grip of the Panther Cougars, but the height of the Rover.

Have you done any testing in the Leopards?
 
im using them in HPI rock grabbers and so far im loving them. great sidewall support, very predictable. They actually drive more like memory foams IMO without the negatives of the memory foams.

I have only tried these foams in my White Rovers and Pro-Line Chisels both of which are in the videos in the previous posts. I am running 2 of the 6 proto type sets, or V1 foams. All the proto type and V2 foams have been sent out and the V3 foams will be ready this week. Once I get the V3 foams, I will then try them in the Panther Leopards.

To be honest, I feel that the reviews from non bias people on the forum are more credible than mine:oops:. With that in mind, I have worked hard to get all the early sets shipped out so that forum members can test and post about them. What's funny, is that all the positive reviews are from people that paid for there foams with no discounts"thumbsup". The people that received free tester foams haven't even posted up about them:ror:.
