Original Design (2009) - 2.2 and 1.9 dual stage foams

jsut order a set of the double dueces 5.5 with 2 in inner for my vp SLWs .7 cannot wait for the best combo evver o and of course rovers

Ran the Sedona's this weekend and trying to find a foam that worked was not easy. Then I dropped one of Eddie's in and there it was. I can't think of a better fit for those tires. They made the outer foam feel very soft but just when you thought it was to soft the inner was there to hold the tire in place. They conformed great on ledges and side hilled just as good. It's hard to find the best of both worlds, great job Eddie....... "thumbsup"

This was the same setup I used at The Midwest Challenge last weekend, 5.5's with Sedona's. I love this setup, It just works........."thumbsup" Keep up the good work Eddie.

I installed 5.5 in my berg that weighs 5.80 lb.im running white rovers with vp 1.0 wheels.trimmed the inners a 1/4in.just seems to need a little more fine tuning what would you suggest.

I had a hard time getting them to work for me when I first got them, they seem to have a break in period before they become magic! Just keep running them, even spending a day treating them like a stress ball would help.

Would agree 100% I massaged mine for a week befor I put them in the tires. And oh boy the did exactly what Rockshow said magic!!!

Payment sent for some foams, any way to check up on order status?

You will/should get an email thru paypal when they reach "shipped" status. Got mine today.

Thats about it when ordering thru the C.I. site I do believe. I know Eddie stays pretty darn busy but gets his stuff out as soon as possible.

I just drive them to break them in. A few battery packs and they soften up a little. As for the .7's, how much the crawler weighs is more important. If it's under 6 pounds, I would try for 2 inch in front and 1 3/4 in the rear. If it's over 6 pounds try them at 2 1/8.

What size foam are people finding works in the 2.2 rovers?

The 2.2 white or blue dot rovers use the 5.5 tall Double Deuce Nova Foams.

The 2.2 pink rovers are best used with a combo of the 5.5 inner foam and 5.0 outer foam. I am going to add that as an option to the C.I. web site. You end up with a 5.25 tall foam.

The width of the inner foam depends on the weight of your crawler and how wide of wheel you are using.

I personally use a 1 inch wide wheel front and rear. My front inner foam is 2 inch and the rear inner foam is 1 3/4 wide. My Rock Show berg 2.2 comp crawler is 5 pounds 14 ounces.

Keep the questions coming and THANK YOU to everyone for your support of the products and me. I could not do any of this without you and I am extremely grateful.
