Orlandoo Hunter OH32X01 comp crawler

It’s been a few years since I have seen an Orlandoo. They have come a long ways. Looks cool. What’s the specs on that build?

I’m waiting for upgraded shocks and servo.

But now that the wheelbase has become so long, I’ll make 50mm tires for the front and have the 43mm tires on the rear.

Btw, I’ve shaved the sidewalls of the tires and was able to fix most of the wobble 💪

So they are even more soft and grippy.

That will be shaved tires Part 3 and larger custom cut-N-shut tires Part 4.

Last might be brushless. But first I want to see how far I can get using this brushed setup.

It needs dig 😅

I got cheap superglue from the 1-Euro-Store and dip a toothpick into a tiny drop of that glue and apply it to tire. After breaking-in when all the crystals have cracked the tires become even more soft. The excess breaks off in time. (Actually I don’t mind, when you can see that the tires are custom cut-Nshut :))

But the best glue I’ve come across and recommend, is Loctite 406.

What size tires are you working on?

I have 51mm x 20mm RC4WD Baja Claws on a rig . Just not happy with them , don’t exactly want to cut every other lug yet .

Amazing performance. This micro brushless outrunner motor 1:30 did a great job handling these rocks. But I need more torque and less speed. So I have ordered the 1:50.Even though, this upgrade has made a huge difference! See for yourself!
