PC Sim Racing

short recap of last nights Caddy race at Road America.
that guy that did the flying started ended up in the kitty litter on the first corner:lmao:
had a great first lap, passed 6 cars:shock:
then bad luck hit on lap 3 and I was done.

its funny how yalls commentary goes with my racing. I need to turn off team speak before recording next time.

LOL! You should put our asses on mute next time! Or maybe we can set up a push-to-talk during races so we only discuss stuff that's important (crashes, etc.). Don't want our GT3 Ringer getting distracted! "thumbsup"

By the way, while we were on the grid for the Cadillac race last night I recall someone saying that they were recording the race for their blog or vlog or something. Do you remember hearing that? Would love to find out who it was and if they put together a video from the race! :)

yalls voices were from after the race while yall were doing spec fords or whatever they were. not from the actual caddy race. i was recording from the replay after the race.

i have all iracing public chats turned off. my brain can only do one thing while racing.

OH!! I gotcha. I thought you were recording our chats during the Caddy race. By the way, this was a very cool idea to do a recap of the race. I wish I had the patience. Would be great to do stuff like that...

holy shit. these guys keep me up too late racing.:lmao:
the previous race i did in the GT3 RUF was at Mid Ohio, had that on my brain still i guess:mrgreen:
good catch ep

recap from last nights GT3 race in the RUF.
10 Minutes into the 30 minute race I get a tap that spins me in turn 1 (sadly the iRacing reanimated replays don't show the contact  ) after that I put the hammer down, throwing my "safe race pace" out the window and start doing 100% all out qualifying laps and start catching the field one by one. lost a ton of SR but what a blast!

ignore the Atari pixilated quality. im using the free fraps to capture the vids and it only outputs to like 480p:cry:

Cory you are the master of using the right back ground music"thumbsup" Watching you make your comeback live was awesome by the way!

thanks man, the music makes it. I get goose bumps when it all comes together. such a nerd.

yeah it was really cool knowing you were watching. added pressure, but cool, for the recap I cut out all the in between chaseing/catching, but in real time that made each pass so much sweater.

Well my walmart PC had been letting me down lately in frame rate, graphics settings, multi tasking etc.

So last night Steve and i pulled an all nighter and built my new tower.

Intel Core i7-4790K, Sapphire Radeon R9 290X, NZXT Phantom 240 - System Build - PCPartPicker

Huge thanks Steve!

From boxes to beast in 7 hours!
