Pics of your latest purchase

Bought myself a new charger (Gens Ace IMARS D300), my old one still worked but was occasionally requiring a power-cycle to give correct readings of my battery status.

Also, this one is just much nicer, and will charge 2 packs at once - and is about a third the size.

Ordered a couple DC cables - one set has pos/neg clamps to go on my 1:1 car battery, and the other has a cigarette lighter adapter - they both terminate in a XT60 to plug in the back of the new charger. They will be here on Tuesday.

My current charger is a Venom pro Duo, bought a while ago and has a smaller footprint but comically tall and serves me well. I’m waiting on a shipment with their “electron dual” along with some other parts from amain a little more than two weeks ago (with good reason for the delay). A few friends have the d300 also and with no problems. I’m getting tired of moving the charger back and forth between a few places in the house, I won’t charge them unattended. Charging two batteries at once is really nice, I still have some 12v single chargers but they are in the camping gear and almost get never used anymore. Time to start cleaning…

Speaking of purchases as of lately, has anyone tried RCmart? Couldn’t tell you the last time I bought from them.

Been a yr plus since my last RC mart order.

Finally, I found one! View attachment 510668
The coveted kyosho viscous coupling "aka" a slipper driveshaft for something cool up my sleeve.
That's awesome! I don't think that is a factory one. It definitely looks different... to be honest it looks like someone turned it out on their lathe. Even if it is a replica it looks fantastic and should do the job. One of the coolest tuning tools made imo.

I haven't "tried" it yet. Howeverz, the shaft won't turn at all atm....? No instructions Not sure it it requires some disassembly, but it does look new.

Wally world had the skullcandy stomp xt speaka on clearance, so, I had to get a 2nd for that stereo experience, you know!
Also went and bough footrests, i know, lazy! Still waiting on my replacement tire for my onewheel....... and the shenanigans will be on. I'll have o invest in on of those insta stick cameras or schomesching like that.

Should be able to disassemble it to change the oil inside. I can't turn mine with my fingers IIRC, I have to put a pair of pliers on the dogbone - it's quite stiff.

These showed up yesterday. I went with jconcepts rock blocks for my Origin. I also considered treps and swampers, but i really hate mounting proline tires. Lol

Edit, also still waiting. I got the 3 month email, but nothing else since so feels like it might be a minute. Plus side, this was the last thing I needed.

Got my Treps mounted on some HobbySoul beadlocks, with the Injora silicon inserts - they feel really odd, and are INCREDIBLY heavy!

Got to get some trail time to see how they perform - at least the wheels and inserts were inexpensive!

BTW - Treps aren't any taller than Azteks, even though the sidewalls are labelled as 4.9"...(?)

Likely going on my Optic for now - I've realized that I have probably at least 3 sets of wheels and tires for every RC I own...:ROFLMAO:(y)

Also got my DC power cables to connect to my new Gens Ace charger - one has alligator clips and the other goes in the cigarette lighter, both end in a XT60 connector to plug in the charger.

Both of the cables have in-line replaceable fuses, which is a great idea - I don't want to ruin my brand new charger!

Lastly, got a nifty looking set of off-brand cheap wheels from Amazon, black rings with gloss white centers - will look perfect on my matte silver TRX4 Defender with the white roof!

Picked up my first set of vanquish wheels today. Technically the 2nd set I've bought, just haven't gotten the first set yet. Lol

I think I'll build these for the origin after seeing a set of the xray's selling for like $600. Those can live in the bag. I saw a set of these 310s for sale on fb for $250 and people seemed like that was normal. My lhs had some in the case for regular retail ($70/pair) so I feel like I'm in the black. Lol
