Pics of your latest purchase

Another small order showed up.
Front wheel for the PL Spoked Rims on the Promoto - MX33
Few pkgs of orings for the drift shocks I got a few orders ago.
And a fully built Rear Diff and case for the Slash Ultimate. Got some clicky clicky going on so figured it was cheapest way forward and now I have spares from the original diff. Got a front diff on the way that'll be here Monday it looks like.

Originally had a pack of the VP raw metal rod ends in my cart, but Amain sold out of them so I picked up the blacks.
This will be for the steering link on both the Optic and the Origin when I start that build, which should be soon.

I bought some rattle for the trunk of my car and for the truck, boxes showed up for them a while back. Also already have amps. However, I did NOT expect this subwoofer to be such a monstrosity. Dude, it was a struggle, just to remove it from the box and Styrofoam!
I tried first by removing the rubber trim band, and it still won't fit in the box, so off to find a file and give the edges of the box a touch for the sub to drop in. Should sound nice once hooked up to me amp, cap. The other subs are a shallow mount, and for the truck, but there's also slight interference due to the bed liner coating (bought both boxes from Amazon) rubbing against the "cage" of the sub. Time to get my file on.

I don't think I have ever seen a subwoofer where the magnet is larger than the overall surface area of the driver.

Neither have I......... i once, had what I thought was a big woofer, a Rockford Fosgate power hx10 something, something 10 inch woofer with a pretty sizeable magnet, but this, I almost HAD to install in reverse.....period

You kids these days with your Strawberry Alarm Clock and silly oversized woofer magnets.
Silly case of Benjamin Button going on really......me, I'm over 45 now so, there's that. Hearing loss, let's chalk it up to that, and Id like a bit more deeper thump thump sound and some weight over the rear end of my 86, you know..... it lacks both.

I'll be 58 this year but after recently selling my Jeep I really miss that "thump". I didn't have anything like what you do but just hitting that 10" Kicker in the back was sweet ( JL/ Infinity system). Now I'm relegated to a Toyota Camry with factory stereo and lemme tell ya... it sucks.

I'm hitting 59 in August. As a working bassist of 35 years (pretty much retired 15 yrs ago) I approve of more thump thump. lol

However its intersting. As I get older so has my listening preference in that I prefer the stuff I grew up on, over the stuff I played most of my life. burn out on it mostly I think.
Nothing new today but should have been. maybe tomorrow.

After a year of looking i found this truck for a back up vehicle/what ever else i need
Powerstroke? Hard to tell from your calculator picture, lol, jk looks clean! Purpose? Backup for? Or, just backup pickup truck?

*edit
thump, thump sounds
I'm, I've been, a sound maniac/audiophile, ever since when MTV came online in Dutschland anð I was home sick, or playing hookie and I discovered the 3 separate dials on our TV remote, one said: mid, trebble, and bass, and that was Game over. 16 band Parametric equalizers or so were a standard in my car or home after that, and before marriage.......... ya, if I wanted the whole bloc could hear my music loud and clear as day. On occasion they had to, lol.

Yes power stroke 6.0 tho, im a little leary of the 6.0 as they have been known to have problems. But my father works with the guy i got it from as well he knows the mechanic that worked on it. As far as purpose its replacing my ford ranger i use to have. Also its a back up vehicle incase something happens with my car. Also i feel trucks are safer

AMain is having a tempting Father's Day sale. $219.99 for the Mini LMT! A bunch of MST drift stuff on sale as well for those that want to dabble their feet in that super fun niche.

Redcat is still having a sale as well. The $99 RDS drift kit is tempting. Apparently it's pretty good as long as you change the sticky rod ends.

Last of my parts showed up yesterday.
