Pics of your latest purchase

Damn, this a massive transmission! 20250716_135924.jpg
Planetary size......., also expensive to piece together 1 by 1. However, ebay chop shops to the rescue!
A scx6 trans, and axle internals. However, links are what shows up instead of the shafts I ordered......lol. I thought, cool freebie, but then no dice, no shafts, and seller will send a self addressed envelope. Booo

Bought this terrarium, for a huge grass spider I found. Sorry if any of you have arachnophobia, but here's a pic of he/she in a temporary Pringles can. Qtip for water, and yes there's 2 spiders shown but one is it's own molt as it molted after I caught it! I was still working so I recorded the molt in segments.

Love wolf/ grass spiders, crab, lynx, and jumpers.... and orb weavers in particular. We have a little orby right now in a flowerbed that is catching something cause she's growing like crazy. Good year... lots of rain. By Sept we're gonna be lousy with wolf spiders. I don't care for em in the house but garage and outside is fine.

Around here, those are called Wolf or Woods spiders. Some get the size of my hand. Had a very large one years ago in the basement next to my fly tying desk, every time I'd turn on my magnifier lamp she'd come out from behind the desk and sit in the heat. She kept bugs out of my hackles, and I let her be.
