Friday June 25th is the fan fest in downtown Colorado Springs.

Got this from another board:Fan Fest is the annual pre-race celebration held in downtown Colorado Springs (Tejon St. between Colorado Ave. & Bijou St.) promoting the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This event is FREE and typically features a large Budweiser beer garden, live bands, chili cook-off, motorcycle jumpers and Denver Bronco cheerleaders as well as other live entertainment. Top race qualifiers will display their vehicles (cars, trucks, quads, motorcycles, etc.), give driver demos and be present for autograph sessions.

Sunday June 27th is the actual race, so who is going?

Is anyone interested in camping out for the whole weekend down there?

I thought there was another thread, but didn't feel like looking too hard.

i gotta double check but im sure some of my homies are gonna be going too....i may camp out we will see closer to the race

Casey and I'll be at Fan Fest and the race...

My wife and I are friends of the Dallenbachs... Paul will be racing Unlimited this year. "thumbsup"

Don't have a plan for Fan fest, but will probably ride up with Wally Sr. and his wife, Peppy for the race. We'll be in the pits and VIP tent, but may walk up a ways to watch some of the racing...

I live down in grand junction and i have some of the goodyear pikes peak tires on my sand rail that are wore out, i was wondering if people are still running these and if theres a way to pick up some used ones. (brand new a pair cost 1000 dollars:shock:)

Anybody know how JT Taylor and Brad Lovell did on the Peak today?

Looks like JT got 2nd in his class of 2.

Lovell got 3 of 9.

Also looks like my step brother was the 3rd fastest one up the hill OVERALL, and won the open wheel class. The only 2 people that beat him up the hill were Tajima and Dallenbach:shock:

Here is a link to the times.
