Casual crawler. I would comp more frequently if I had better skills, a more competitive set-up and other things didn't clash. Ask this question a year or two down the track and I think I would have changed my answer.

Only time my rig is on is on course and clock. I do go to a lot of comps from 4 to 8 a month. I have comped almost every weekend for 2 months now.

I'm a camping crawler. I use around my house a little but mainly out in the wood's.

Hi my name is Pete and i'm an addict...:lmao::flipoff:

Ever since we've stopped doing comps here, my crawlers have sat. I've gone out just to fool around, but I get bored pretty damn quick.

casual...no need to build my rig to certain specsfor it ot be legal..and it's just fun...blaze your own trail...especially with friends..

andes..i'm talking Scale crawler....would liek to add a Wraith to my fleet though

Even if I were to build a casual crawler, I'd just through a body probably on one of my comp rigs and call it good.
I can't get away from the action and performance of a comp crawler, there-fore, I don't own anything anymore that isn't setup to compete.
I've sold the go fast goodies or the bashers.
For me, it's comp or nothing.

question...is it ever just "casual crawling"? I mean, unless you're out there by yourself...everytime I've been out wheeling (whether it's full size or rc's) it's always a game of "who can pull off what line better". so whether there's cones and a judge or not there's almost always competition. maybe it should be a choice of "casual comping" or "competitive comping" :flipoff:
