Anybody have any info, opinions or reviews on Poseidon RC motors? Cant find much on them but they look like a viable option.

Decided to go big with the Poseidon RC P1527-C15, 1500KV motor. This is the size comparison next to my stock 2200KV castle motor. Looking for more torque and cooler temps. Also it's 8S capable so I will definitely try it going up from 6S. Also will be experimenting increasing the gear ratio because it will be putting out a lower rpm.

That looks like an Axial motor plate. If so, I'd like to know what you're putting it in. You might have clearance issues.

You guys are right, it is huge and will have to be retro fitted. So far I had to sacrifice my rear sway bar but was going to see if I can relocate the cross bar and still use it. It is going in a Yeti XL and is also a 40mm motor like the stock motor, so I did a dry fit and it fit perfectly in the motor mount plate. Doesnt look like it'll need it but Im going to add a brace/support on the back end for some tension relief. Also ordered a new esc and will retro fit this as well.

Im doing this because I found I like to build and want to push it to the limit. If this turns out to be a great combo I might build a whole other rig from scratch and put this in it.
