Positronic's YJ Wrangler

New meats look good, I switched to RC4WD tires on my rigs a few builds ago, love the look and they perform well too. You can't beat that.

cheers

got the GPM rear shock mount in, preloaded the fronts with traxxas spacers. Ran out of tube for the link sleeving, it's on the way.

rack is half done, but im aborting using this high tensile fencing wire. will make the rest or remake it all out of brass when I get some.

It crawls a lot better now, every mod makes this rig so much more capable

Coming along nicely, glad you are going with a rack. If you have access to a welder, 3/16th steel rod works well and will protect the body for sure. Not sure how well brass will hold up to roll overs.:)

I dont think the stuff I have is normal steel rod, as we have other fencing wire thats slightly bigger that bends easier, but im finding these rolls out in our woodshed on a farm, so there in pretty bad shape.

brass will be fine with enough bracing, the stinger on my 40 is made entirely of brass and regular solder! made it before I had silver solder and a mapp torch :lmao: i carry it around by the stinger and handles topples and rolls fine.
